Pandora's Star

Amazing piece of SciFi. If there is a SciFi analog to A Song of Ice and Fire, this is it. Deep and complex characters, compelling and intricate story. The take on a society built around wormholes is probably the most realistic, as contrasted with the most typical story around space faring. The ending did come rather abruptly though. I felt like it could have done with at least one more chapter.

I can't remember where I saw the recommendation for this book, possibly on twitter. This book is really long, which is something I actually like and it is oh.so.good. The huge cast of characters,aliens, and cool tech what more could I want?

I finished this book and went straight to book 2.
