Third book of Vampire Academy. Rose is quite traumatized by the events of the end of book 2 and, in particular, sees ghosts - which is somewhat bad news as far as her mental health is concerned. It's also the time of the "end of studies practical test" for Rose's classmates (and Rose herself): each of them is assigned to a Moroi student, whom they have to protect as if it were real from attacks by the Academy instructors. Feels a bit like "Buffy meets Harry Potter" - I liked it.
