This book took a really long time for me to read. The only reason I can think of is pacing. I liked the characters, plot, and setting, but everything just sort of plodded along. I expected such a short book to move faster. Still worth a read, but not quite what I'd hoped for.
Following the decades of cataclysmic environmental devastation, the moon is the source and setting of the energy and economic base for the expansion to the stars. An uneasy peace that has nations and subordinate mining corporations working in unwritten rapport is about to explode.
In a tense and gritty thriller, Gunpowder Moon follows a site of U.S. mining operations, an ex-marine now chief mining director, and the techs running the operation as a murder of one of their own threatens to destroy everything.
