Review of 'Vanishing Act (Jane Whitfield Novel)' on 'Goodreads'
This is the first in the Jane Whitefield series. Jane protects people who are hunted, and provides them with new identities. She's also a Seneca Indian, in touch with the land and spirits in rural New York. The mysticism goes rather over-the-top. This book was written in 1995, and the fun with identities is hard to imagine today. The fast-paced action doesn't bear any close examination either, but it was a fun, rip-roaring read.
