Ligotti is by far my favourite writer in the horror genre, but this is a terrible collection. Only a handful of the stories in this book are up to Ligotti's normal standard, and most of them are completely unreadable by any standard. Unless you are a monstrous Ligotti fan and a completist, skip this collection. If you are new to Ligotti, start with the Nightmare Factory instead.
