Review of 'The immortality edge' on 'GoodReads'

This was a quick read. The page count is deceptive. ~50 pages are references/glossary/etc. and another ~50 of workouts and diets.

The first act of the book delves into the history of telomeres, but at the general biology level. You won't need to know about codons to understand it.

Part two goes into specific recommendations. Sugar is poison. Meditation works wonders. Sweat at least 45 minutes a week (interval training). Take fish oil pills, but make sure they're not full of contaminations. Eat the paleo diet.

This is more of a reminder to look into the references vs. a comprehensive review. I like how the authors are aware of fads and advise moderation in all things. I would recommend this over Tim Ferris. The authors aren't above plugging their own companies, so I took off a star.
