I feel like this volume spent half its time dwelling on a mix of side problems and things we already knew, and it did so in order to make the last couple of issues pop harder. And sure, the climax and ending are pretty awesome, but the rest felt... eh?

Always hard to form an opinion on these books. I close the volume satisfied, but during and after the book I felt like it was missing something.

Another solid volume of this tale, we must be getting close to some sort of climax. While Takeda's art is generally stunning, her action sequences are impressionistic at best and it's often hard to tell exactly what is happening. I'll also probably have to reread the whole thing back to back once it's done so I can actually keep all of the factions and characters straight. But this is still one of the best ongoing series there is at there moment.
