So I guess this is where the payoff for all that world building starts to happen. There's always some action happening in this series, but this volume was pretty much a big ol' siege with all the violence that comes with mass warfare.
And Maika is just straight-up savage, which is somehow both refreshing and worrying.
Kippa is still the cause of 90% of my stress reading this series.
Basically, still good.
