Al Franken: Giant of the Senate

My first introduction to Al Franken was NOT "Saturday Night Live", but "Air America", so I became quite aware of his political leanings, but when he ran for Sen. in Michigan, although I was unable to do anything about it, I was quite interested and aware of his background. This book emphasizes his wishes and desires and politics during his senatorial career, and it points out why was so tragic that he ended up having to quit!
I agree with him on so many things, and I'm terribly sorry that he is no longer there and could not continue to carry out his goals. Sigh.

Interesting and, at times, funny look at Franken's career in comedy, senate campaign, and experiences under two different presidents. Glad I listened.
