The added excepts from the hilarious and bizarre Xanathar are great, and remind me of Bob The Skull's additions in Dresden Files RPG book.

There isn't much of a coherent theme to this supplement β it's a grab bag of new character options and optional rules for the Dungeon Master, much like the old Best of Dragon Magazine books β but there's probably something here to appeal to everybody. Production values are high and the color commentary from the eponymous Xanathar is amusing.
