This volume really picked up at the end- I didn't think I'd finish reading until #4 and #5 completely shifted the plot in a really, really cool way! Some of the art feels unfinished and jumpy, and the plot arcs in #1- #3 fell sort of flat for me. I'm curious to see how volume 2 reads!
