I came across an article about this book in the Huffington Post and just had to buy it. Alexandra Crockett took a series of photos of heavy metal rockers with their cats. When you think of heavy metal, you think of big, tough guys with tattoos, body piercings, and metal-studded leather jackets, not guys with big grins on their faces, showing off their beloved cats. These rockers are from bands named Cattle Decapitation, Exhumed, Napalm Death, Lightning Swords of Death, and Murder Construct. Yet here they are holding kitties. Well, one guy is holding a rooster, but you always have one who has to be different ;)
I took this to work and my coworkers had a ball with it. It's a funny, cute, surprisingly warm book that never fails to bring a smile to people's faces.
P.S. The lovely tuxedo cat on page 49 is a dead ringer for …
