Review of 'The Black Book' on 'LibraryThing'

Rebus wants to find out who clobbered his sergeant and put him in a coma. He was carrying a book of notes on an investigation that may bring Rebus closer to his nemisis, Big Ger Cafferty. Either I'm in a reading slump or this was not nearly as good as other books in this series. It wasn't a compelling read. I think it was a slump more than the book, though.
