Color

I've been studying color this spring, and folks were raving about this book, and I found a used copy super cheap, so I thought I'd read it. It has lots of interesting tidbits, but it is written in a style that is not my favorite. It is rather drawn out, and lacks the density I would have liked.

An interesting book, filled with fascinating trivia. Too much actually. It would have made a better book to browse, dipping into it a chapter at a time, spread out over a longer time. Because the wealth of facts got to be overwhelming otherwise. There was a wish for more pictures than the few pages of color plates tucked into the center of the book. And I wasn't the only one who kept stopping to google for the paintings that were described.
