Cute little kids book about a somewhat timid shrew called Nurk who longs for adventure, and when he accidentally opens a letter asking for help, he decides to embrace the opportunity and heads downstream where he finds both adventure and new acquaintances. This is probably for 8-12 year olds-ish? It's a story about learning to be brave, learning independence, being creative helping friends, and pursuing your dreams.
