I just plain read - and write - a lot. Also, enough imports and manual additions fail on this platform - and take so long - that I'll probably be a while before coming back to test it again. Which said, this test was much better than the last one. Until then, you can find my author and reader updates most often over on Goodreads: www.goodreads.com/author/show/7731539.Wetdryvac

This one gave me the weird, mostly in the sense of othering, which fits the period and perspective, but ow. Liked the writing itself.

Look, when I ran into the Nasa Graphics Standards Manual? This is what I thought of because this is what I read first, and this did it better - with NASA running some really good competition.
This thing's a bloody masterpiece, and got me into graphic design in a way nothing i'd seen previously even approached.

I almost never like books that back-and-fill around other books in a series, but this one did it beautifully, and may be my favorite of Carriger's steampunk era works. Utterly lovely.
