Yet another action packed, sarcastically humorous tale of justice, right, and courage in the wilds of Wyoming. I still don't know how Walt manages to heal from all his scrapes, cuts, bruises and wounds.
Gods, how I hate back-and-forth in time, and bits of this felt like, "HERE IS YOUR PATH, READER," All caps an everything - but the writing has moments nearly as solid as the first book. A favorite character, new in this book, probably never to be seen again: Worth it.
I love these Walt Longmire mysteries, and stayed up much too late reading this. There's a definite formula to them, Walt does at least one impossible thing, and there's some sort of mystical bit, but I still can't put them down.
