Se avete amato Middlegame, a questo punto con tutta probabilità avrete esplorato anche la serie Up-and-Under di A. Deborah Baker, e saprete in cosa vi state imbarcando.

I read this shortly after finishing Middlegame. It was a a solid follow-up and even more enjoyable than the first novel. The story is more linear, so it's easier to understand and the dynamics between the characters are (on some level) more relatable. Some chapters were longer than I would have liked for a quick bedtime read, but even the long ones moved quickly so I never felt like I was reading long passages.

I received this book from a Goodreads giveaway in exchange for an honest review.
