I definitely like the Half-Moon Hollow series the best of Molly Harper's book I've read. I've read all of the Jane Jameson and Naked Werewolf series in comparison. I think it is because they are quirky comedic romances and have a change up of characters helps quite a bit. Jane, although quirky, gets a bit stale, and the Werewolves just weren't quite as fun, though I really liked the first. So this is #5 in the full length (not very long) novels, their are 6 or 7 novellas, and I have to say that the novellas are usually really good too.

In this one we get Finn in on a con of some sort and a librarian trying to get a book back to Jane Jameson. She wants to take it back in person because while reading it, she discovers that some of the information needs to stay confidential. I love how the librarian although flip flopping, sees through Finn. Finn tries to do the right thing in the end, but really he tries to get by on doing the "right thing" on technicalities. If she had changed Finn's personality, I might have not enjoyed it as much. Finn is NOT a good guy, he is not a bad guy, but.... well read it and you will see. The two had chemistry and I was worried that Finn would roll over and bare his tummy, but in the end. It was really good.
If you like the Halfmoon Hollow series, you probably won't be disappointed with this installment. I wouldn't suggest starting here, though, you wouldn't be as lost as the Big Vamp on Campus novella, you wouldn't get all the characters or references.
