The shape of things to come. The cataclysmic events of Star Trek: Destiny have devastated known space. Worlds have fallen. Lives have been destroyed. And in the uneasy weeks that follow, the survivors of the holocaust continue to be tested to the limits of their endurance. I really appreciate the way KRAD can bring the political side of the Trek-verse to life. In this post-Destiny book, we see the Alpha quadrant powers struggling to deal with the effects of the Borg invasion, from the split Romulan Empire, to the Klingons, to the very core worlds of the Federation itself. After centuries of near utopia, having to deal with massive numbers of refugees, disease, hunger, and housing causes more stress and problems than they know how to deal with. Things aren't helped any when people behind the scenes are using the chaos to their own advantage.
