My least favorite from this series. The story was painfully slow and bland with far too many characters to keep track of. At times I had read 15 in the brigade and wondered who all of them where. The scenery was well describe but so lifeless, it felt as though I was giving up on hope that these characters would ever make it to their destination as each chapter was yet another ice bridge travel. And then boom, they finally arrive halfway through the last chapter and barely even the slightest taste of what the Distance Blue actually looked like. I didn’t feel like the entire series ended off on a good note. It just felt lifeless and rushed
