I started off really enjoying this book. The world building was interesting, the characters were decently fleshed out, and the idea of a world in which everyone is incorporated and buys and sells shares of each other is certainly interesting.
But... It went too far with the title character Justin Cord, the unincorporated man, the one free man, the billionaire from the 21st century brought back to life after a cryogenic sleep of 300 years being such a messianic character.
I also hated how some things were introduced, only to be fully explained, and then dropped completely from the story. The VR plague was the worst offender given how much of the story it sucked up. Especially when the whole build up was to give the antagonist some leverage over a minor character who's seen once.
