After reading [b:Demon Dentist|18269507|Demon Dentist|David Walliams|https://images.gr-assets.com/books/1380874441s/18269507.jpg|25731243] and being surprised by just how bad it was I almost didn't give another one of David Walliam's books a go. But after being pestered by my youngest I gave in and read Gangsta Granny to her. I'm stunned by how much better this was, well written with a sweet little plot, a nice amount of silliness (Granny not knowing she is constantly blowing off had us laughing every time) and at times it becomes very moving.
If you've never read a book by Walliams then start with this and skip the Demon Dentist. :-)
