bought this based on a youtube review of the anime, and wow did they low ball this one! the first chapter had me in Tears (tm), the second and subsequent chapters did not improve my tissue usage. i am buying volume 2 literally right now. beautiful art, gut wrenching stories (even though you don't find out a lot of concrete facts about these characters, but it still breaks your heart) and i can't wait to find out what the author's going to do with the supernatural elements too. translation seems solid as well, maybe i'll get the original versions too, if the other volumes are as good as this one.
