Review of 'Sky in the deep' on 'Storygraph'

I really enjoyed this book. I loved Eelyn and I loved Fiske, I loved the way they are with each other. I loved the internal struggle for Eelyn.
This book was well-written, well-constructed, and the characters were deep enough that they felt real and human and messy. I wished at some points that there was a little bit less of the book describing the specific fight scenes, even though they were written so well, and more of the relationships between people. There are some really nice moments between characters but they always felt too short for me. What I'm trying to say is that I just wanted the nice moments between characters to last longer.
I like Fiske so much, he is a really great male lead. Since the book is only about Eelyn we only got to notice him and talk to him when Eelyn does. Almost all of …
