I was really excited to read this one, especially since the highlight of Forever for me was the Isabel/Cole dynamic. Though both are still raw and unashamedly messed up, Cole didn't seem to hit the same stride as he did before; perhaps it was the juxtaposition of Cole v. Sam that I liked. Good read, but still not as good as Shiver. 3 stars.
Update 9/10/15: Reread it because I remembered it being fairly enjoyable. And so I'm lowering it to 2 stars. I felt severely underwhelmed, and won't be rereading this one again.
