Review of 'Five Presidents' on 'Goodreads'
3 stars
This memoir gives a special glance of that turbulent period of the United States from a unique angle. It's very informative and interesting to read for a reader like me, who had no idea of the American history. Also, Mr. Hill is a such a great man, loyal, valiant, honest, responsible, and humble. I was deeply touched when I read the last chapter.
But don't expect t0o much about any political analysis and opinions from this book, from a secret service agent. This book is largely a combination of information you can find from newspapers and some anecdotes of those five presidents (more accurately, 1/2 about Johnson, 1/4 about Kennedy, and the rest 1/4 about Eisenhower and Nixon, and pretty much nothing about Ford).
