Act locally, put down roots, and establish meaningful real-world social networks—tribes—to fill the void currently filled by anti-tribes, or identities based on who you see as “them.”
As an urban liberal (with a Southern small city background), I especially appreciated the perspective provided by Sasse, a small town (and worldly intellectual) conservative.
