AlienSkyler reviewed Darling Rose Gold by Stephanie Wrobel
thrilling, perhaps a little problematic

Rose Gold thought she was sick but it turned out her mother was poisoning her. After spending 5 years in prison, the mother is home and surprisingly her daughter allows her to live with her. What could she possibly be plotting?
I find the content of books like these very interesting, though I didn't necessarily find Rose Gold that relatable and I don't know how I feel about alternating perspectives with an abuser, but it is well written to be thrilling and a great twist of revenge at the end. I would give it five stars for entertainment value but take one off for how it portrays abuse survivors, though I somewhat sympathize with the character's actions up to a point
