So unlike the movie – and far preferable in my mind! I 1st read this when I was in grade school, long before I saw the movie. Her personality is not all gooey and ribbons and bows! I'm glad that I went back and reread it, though; I had forgotten a good deal of the story. It always makes me smile :-)
