Review of 'Apocalypse Z: The Beginning of the End (Apocalypse Z, #1)' on 'Goodreads'
4 stars
I'll admit, I've burned myself out reading many zombie novels. When I came across this little diddly at the bookstore, I was skeptical and thought for sure it would be just another predictable story I'm just wasting money on. I really, really liked how this was put together. Personally, I'm a fan of reading blog entries. Reading the situations the blogger puts himself into and describing the emotions he felt at the time is what kept me interested. (I'm a fan of raw emotion) While I do think this novel is underrated, it's not groundbreaking. I will however, recommend it to zombie enthusiasts everywhere regardless. Two thumbs up Manel Loureiro, can't wait to start the second installment.
