I struggled the entire time with reading and completing this book. In fact, I've read this a little while ago and totally didn't remember that I had read it.

Then I remember why I found the book unmemorable. Gabrielle Maxwell.

I didn't like the main character and struggled very hard to like her. I wanted to. Really wanted to... but between the sometimes awkward pace of the book and Gabrielle's awkwardness, I just could not do it. Sometimes her awkwardness was endearing, other times, I just found myself mildly annoyed. The only truly memorable part of the book, that I can recall, is the introduction of Lucan's lil group of vampires and their wives. Just did not do it for me, unfortunately but I would keep reading for Lucan and crews sake.
