The summoner

A relatively simple Fantasy read with likeable characters. Lots of action, without a lot of boring parts.

Enjoyable! Good characters, solid magic structure. Good start to a series.

While the story is not all that exciting it seems to draw you in. I care about the characters. I need to find out what happens. This is not the typical style of writing I prefer but in this book it worked. It is well written with good characters. While there are slow parts in the book there is not a moment that does not have a purpose in the story, no wasted text just for the sake of making the book longer. Its a goodread :)
