Remarkably demonstrative of how an artist should not treat their own work particularly when working in a collaborative medium like television. I don't know enough about Star Trek to know if this is an earnest attempt to defend a hilariously hackneyed script or a particularly clever bit of satire but either way the takeaway is the same: don't be this guy.
