Review of 'The white goddess' on 'Storygraph'

I enjoyed Joseph Campbell better because he was better organized. Graves rambles. Some of this is brilliant. The big concepts are great but a lot detail. This is hard to rate because it's a painful read at points but amazingly insightful at others. it's hard to trust, some stuff he just makes up or alters to fit his hypothesis.
