Review of 'A Cavern of Black Ice (Sword of Shadows)' on 'Goodreads'

A silver haired foundling who vomits ancient, evil ghosts, a raven-blessed hero with the ability to explode hearts and and a tortured sorcerer bound and tortured for thirty years whose flesh is fodder for flies with magical properties... I found this book to be engrossing in the way I love fantasy to be engrossing, where it is 3 a.m. and still I must have more. While fantasy conventions are all clear and accounted for, save the dragons perhaps, she still manages to create interesting characters, unique situations and a well-paced, exciting story. Looking forward to #2.
