Classic sci-fi; aliens, spaceships, time travel, adventure and bizarre elements of the moment it was written inserted into the story (in this case the Cold War). Great fun. Just right for reading in the garden on a late spring warm Sunday afternoon.
Many of Andre Norton's early science fiction is extremely dated, but she is one of those authors I read as a child. Who will always have a special place in my heart. This is the first book in her Time Traders series and the best one in my opinion.
