Martinza reviewed Me, Not You by Alison Phipps
Review of 'Me, Not You' on 'Storygraph'
5 stars
Analysis and critiques the more problematic aspects of mainstream/white middle class feminism like e.g. reliance on punishing state, strife for power inside generally oppressive system and exclusionary elements. The book tries to incentivise self reflection. The book is relatively compact and easy to follow. Some repetition when looking at things from different angels. I liked.
The author states that the book is for white feminists by a white feminist. Probably not much news in there for BIPoC feminists.
