Gone to See the River Man

I've read a lot of horror thus year, so maybe I just read this too fast or the horror just washed over me, but this was largely like a meatloaf of other more exceptional disturbing horror than a distinct flavor. It was fine.

my personal sum up of this book: a shitty person got what she deserved - and it was awful! absolutely loved it.

I really liked this book! I'm embarrassed to say I fell for the old adage of judging a book by its cover and didn't expect much from this one, but boy was I wrong! It was a great book, just the right amount of horror and intrigue.
