Review of 'The Stranger in the Woods' on 'Goodreads'

3 stars

After thinking on this book for a while, I am knocking off a star from my review.

As a "hermit", Chris eschewed labels, meanings, and reasons for the choices he made and the life he lived in the woods. The author not only imposed all of those abstractions onto Chris' story, but invaded his privacy and solitude on numerous occasions.

The author does himself no favors by letting us watch him constantly pester a man who loves silence more than anything.
