Morgoth's Ring (1993) is the tenth volume of Christopher Tolkien's 12-volume series The History of Middle-earth in which he analyses the unpublished manuscripts of his father J. R. R. Tolkien.

Review of "Morgoth's ring" on 'Goodreads'

Read the "Athrabeth Finrod ah Andreth" for a class at the Mythgard Institute. Good stuff.

As with other History of Middle-Earth volumes, I'm not always keen on Christopher Tolkien's commentary. I get that his father had a lot of drafts of things, but I think Christopher is sometimes more vague and convoluted than necessary.
