I had a hard time getting into this because of her writing style. Like me, she is one of those people who finds lots of interesting tidbits and wants to jam them all in to her work. So I spent a lot of time thinking "where are you going with this." Nothing particularly original about her thesis. And she doesn't break out of the whole conservative/liberal trope even for a moment.
