Review of 'Kill Zone' on 'Goodreads'

This book tells the story of a secret nuclear waste site and all the things that went wrong when a group of people are brought together to give some oversight. In that way of things, one thing leads to another, and before you know they are all on the run away from lethal alarms and badly designed storage.

The book was moderately interesting, but only just barely. I never really got attached to any of the characters, even Adonia, the veteran nuclear site engineer, who should have been relatable. Everyone else was kind of caricatures, and most of them you couldn't wait for them to die off. It wasn't unbelievable, as the science seemed pretty real, but for such a short book it was kind of a slog. It was definitely one damned thing after another and sometimes I found it hard to figure out just what was going on. …
