This one took me a long time to read, not really sure why. It didn't have the best pace I guess. But, it's one of my favorite books aside from that! The story was very unique. The characters are well developed and have exciting and thorough backstories. I wouldn't consider it a 'horror' book as the author describes it as in his foreword, but it is a dystopian-future type tale that is its own kind of scary. A "in the not-so-distant future" tale for the ages.
