Another maximum rating for a detective story.

Interestingly, for me, the "secondary" incident described in the book was more interesting than the "primary". I was very upset with myself for failing to crack it.

The story is a bit standard / boring, but it's a good book nonetheless. Horowitz is a premium author.

None

A fairly easy-going nurse mystery book following from the first of this series where the authors is the main character in the book. Still find this concept a bizarre one, with feels often like a diary/journal/reflection of his career as a writer and much self criticism. As stated in the book, the detective is also not a very likable character, but he does get the mystery solved. Even if the author tries to solve it before the police does. Did not see the end coming and it did include a fair bit of new characters and plot twists, but remains a 'meh' kind of book for me.
