i guessed whodunit. That lost the book a single point.

2.5 stars rounding up. I liked how this opened: with the police receiving a body cut into three pieces, delivered in magicians' boxes. But then I remembered: I'm not really a fan of whodunnits. I suppose if you're a fan of Agatha Christie, this might tick all the boxes for you, but it's not my cup of tea. It was an easy listen, but I didn't find myself caring about any of the characters and I wanted more complexity.
