Review of 'The strange affair of Spring Heeled Jack' on 'Goodreads'

A fun read. I'm not generally crazy about alternate history (I teach history), but this was an engaging Steampunk mystery.

Bit of a train wreck really. It's not particularly good, interesting or believable but it had enough moments that it was hard to put down.
Great example of steampunk. Not bad for a first novel. I was distracted at times, though, by the melodramatic descriptions and dialogue.
