De usynlige

This is a very unique book, in that it does not have a plot, but instead follows a family living on a small island off the coast of western Norway. It's a very fascinating story, and you feel as though you are being personally touched by these people. I would argue that the books' strength lies in the way that everything happens naturally - as there is no plot, you feel that the characters are very much real, and so for me, these characters are easier to sympathize with than in other books with heroes and whatnot. Definitely a unique book for me, and I would recommend it to anyone interested in reading a book purely for enjoyment.
