It is interesting that even under a pseudonym Tom Holt would write such a dark and unforgiving story.
I loved it, I loved the writing I loved the new life he breaths into old tropes, I loved the characters even though I didn't like them as people.
I simply expected some of the light heartedness and fun from Tom Holt's books to show through even under the Parker nom de guerre.
