so much of this was based on appearance; rebecca kept talking about how hot killian (what kind of a name is that anyways?) was, and how turned on she got when she was near him. yes, he did save her at the beginning of the book, but it seemed played down to me due to the lack of build-up. idk.
he's demanding for the majority of the first half. alpha heroes are fine. tyrants are not. rebecca finally stood up for herself after he lost a game, which i was glad for, even if it was incredibly short-lived.
